The need for a modern “technology of electronic components” led to the publishing of this book which includes the following topics:
In the first chapter materials which are used (conductors, insulators, semi-conductors) and their attributes are described.
The second chapter looks at the resistors in all their forms (fixed, variable, divisors, imprinted, ICs, SMD, thermistors, varistors, LDT, special).
The third one is devoted to capacitors (dielectric, electrolytic, double-coating, plated, ICs, SMD, variable) and their applications.
The fourth chapter looks through coils: fixed, variable, high and low frequency, special and SMD.
At the end, the fifth chapter examines the RC-LC networks of ceramic or other technology, the suppressors of categories X and Y, the ceramic suppressors (BC capacitors, BCV, current), the EMI/RFI, ceramic and SAW filters as well as the resonators.
